Anastasia (18), a Tae Kwon Do champion, beautiful,  intelligent, but ill-mannered posh Greek girl, gets trapped in the vehicle elevator of an under construction Garage with Orestis, a poor university graduate (23) about to immigrate to the States.   It is Friday night and the site is closed for the weekend.  With no cell-phone signal, no food, and a little water, Anastasia and Orestis must survive until Monday morning when the site reopens. Outside, nobody connects the two disappearances. Anastasia’s divorced wealthy parents suspect kidnap, while Orestis’ estranged and scornful father accidentally discovers his son’s disappearance on Saturday night. Their searches are misguided and ineffective.  Struggling through hours of heat, thirst, and fear, and oscillating from hatred and suspicion to sympathy and acceptance, Anastasia and Orestis survive until Monday. But on Monday nobody comes. The site does not open, because of sudden imposition of Injunction Measures.  Soon the two youths realize that the only way to get out of there alive is to fight for it themselves. A summer rain helps them collect water, quench their thirst, and find the strength and courage to dare the unthinkable. To get out they must take a dangerous leap.  For Anastasia and Orestis it is Freedom or Death.  Like for all of us, for that matter.
